The 2008 windsurf racing season is (sadly!) behind us. Highlights of the year include the return of the Gorge Games to Hood River and working with the young people in the Sailworks Racing Camp. Fortunately, the fall winds will continues to blow for another couple of months and speed sailing on the Coast will help keep those nasty withdrawal symptoms at bay.

I have been competing in the US National Windsurfing Tour since 2001. I feel extremely fortunate to be able to train and race primarily in Hood River, Oregon, in the world famous Columbia River Gorge with some of the best sailors in the sport. I believe strongly that all disciplines of windsurfing competition help to not only promote the sport and associated businesses but more importantly, respect for and stewardship of the environment.
