Can you feel it? Spring is in the air and the 2008 windsurf racing season is right around the corner! I have been competing in the US National Windsurfing Tour since 2001. I feel extremely fortunate to be able to train and race primarily in Hood River, Oregon, in the world famous Columbia River Gorge with some of the best sailors in the sport. My 2008 racing season plans include the seven race Gorge Cup series, the grueling long distance Gorge Blowout, one to two Cal Cup races in San Francisco Bay, the Midwest Speedquest and week long US Nationals, both held in Worthington, Minnesota.

I believe strongly that all disciplines of windsurfing competition help to not only promote the sport and associated businesses but more importantly, respect for and stewardship of the environment.
